Alan is using his Home Care Package to stay connected socially with his community. His decision was to go fishing again.
Together with his Care + Support case manager Colleen, Alan was able to formulate a plan to support his goal. Alan said that "it was nice to get out and do some of those 'blokey' things for a change". Alan took up fishing again and yes he can still catch a fish or two. Alan takes his legal catch home for his dinner which makes these outings even more special. Alan feels this is an important link for him to his community and friends. A big thank you to Alan for sharing his story and photo with us.
The Maclean Men's groups did a slow trip to Evans Head so the men could see the progress of the new highway and to enjoy talking about all things blokey.
Early November is beautiful Jacaranda time in Grafton. The Clarence Care + Support team love taking part in the Jacaranda Thursday festivities in Market Square.
Hi, my name is Matthew. Most Friday nights I can be found bowling up a storm at Grafton Bowling Alley. I love to go bowling and have my own green bowling ball I use every week.
